Thierry Chocolateria Patisserie Cafe

Instead of buying birthday cakes, we have been bringing our birthday friends to Thierry for a treat while we have a taste of different desserts.  It's a wonderful to chill and chat with friends while satisfying our sweet tooth.

Thierry is famous for macaroons and every time I go there, I can see a lot of people walking out of the restaurant with a pack of macaroons with them.  They have different types of macaroons but we tried lemon (yellow), lychee (pink), coffee (biege) and passion fruit (red).  Crunchy crust on the outside in contrast to the soft and extremely sweet fillings.

Chocolate Caramel Gateau
This Chocolate Caramel Cateau is a new product that we have not seen in our last few visits.  That is not paper.  That's dark chocolate of high quality.  As for what's inside.... it is very similar to the Chocolate Trio.  It has a layer of dark chocolate, caramel, and chocolate mousse.  The only difference is the Chocolate Trio comes with an extra layer of white chocolate on top.

Chocolate Trio
My favourite of all time is the Passion Fruit Mousse Cake.  It's nicely decorated with some mini macaroons on the side.  The mousse was not very sweet but it brings out the sweetness hidden within the sourness of passion fruit jam underneath it.

Tiramisu
Their Tiramisu is pretty cute too.  It has a ribbon that comes with it!  As you see you have to get passed the wall of dark chocolates before you can taste it.  It was a little too much chocolate for me but when I need lots of chocolate, I know what I should be ordering.

The tea there wasn't impressive though.  I have tried a few baked goodies from them.  Their Hazelnut Financier was so delicious that I went back to get another the second day!
